Q How to find The Oxford Townhouse?

The Oxford Townhouse (Post code OX1 4PX), with free parking, is in the Abingdon Road opposite the Queen’s College Sports Ground (south of the city centre).

The Abingdon Road (A4144) joins the Southern By Pass (A423) at Redbridge Park & Ride. If using the A34, exit at Hinksey Hill Interchange onto the A423.

Going into Oxford, our car park is first left off Newton Road, which runs alongside the hotel off Abingdon Road.

It is a 10-15 minute walk to/from the centre of Oxford at Carfax.

Alternatively from the H1 stop in St Aldates (outside Christ Church College) you can take any of these buses: 16,16A, 31,35, X2, X3 and X13 and ask for Newton Road and the stop is just past the hotel. The stop to go into the city is just past the Londis store, left out of the hotel. Buses run about every 5 minutes during the daytime but less frequently in the evening.

Airport coaches from Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton and Stansted terminate at Gloucester Green coach station in the city centre. A taxi to the hotel is the best solution.

From Oxford City train station it is a short taxi ride.

From Oxford Parkway train station it is a longer taxi ride but using a bus will involve a change in the city centre.
