99 Club Leicester Square

The 99 Club plays host to the best comedy every night of the week, across five unique venues in Central London. Earning it’s place as Best London Club year-on-year.

The 99 Club has won Best London Comedy Club for four years in a row at the Chortle Awards. This is our largest venue and yet the shape of the room and the low ceilings offer the sort of intimate, friendly and exciting gig for which all our venues are famed. The critics say that 99 Club Leicester Square has “A great atmosphere… A feeling like you got if you were going to see a band in the early days of punk” – TimeoutOver the years this critically acclaimed venue has played host to nearly every major TV act working today and it’s terrific reputation among comedians and audiences means in the last year alone it’s seen special sets from: Russell Howard, Lee Mack, Stephen K. Amos, Andy Parsons, Jason Manford, Rich Hall, Lenny Henry and many more. With the very best in the current crop of live comedians playing at our regular shows, the critics agree this is always a great place to come for comedy.

The 99 Club is an award winning comedy club, working with some of the finest comedians in the country and managing a busy programme of daily comedy shows in a number of West End locations. The 99 Club has been awarded Best London Comedy Club at the Chortle Awards for the last 7 years and the Best UK Club 2015. We work with a large pool of extremely talented national and international comedians, who regularly appear on TV shows such as Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week, Russell Howard’s Good News, Never Mind The Buzzcocks and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow. We host up to 13 shows a week at multiple central London locations, catering for both public and private events. Our venues are located in Leicester Square, Covent Garden, Soho and Piccadilly Circus. We pride ourselves on the quality of the comedy acts, the excellent customer service, the successful partnerships with venues and we welcome over 40,000 audience members per year.

Q Can I bring my stag night to your venue?

No. Most of our venues are not suitable for Stag Nights. If you wish to make a booking please contact us in advance and we will advise you on which is the best venue for your group. The 99 Club is not a suitable environment for rowdy groups. We do allow hen parties who are looking for an enjoyable and alternative evening out. However, regardless of your reason for celebrating we do ask all of our audience members to respect those around them and the acts by not chatting whilst the show is on.

Q Can I buy tickets on the door?

We always advise customers to book online rather than paying on the door as most of our shows sell out by an hour before showtime. You will also receive an online discount when booking online.

Q What does 'Standard' seating mean?

Booking a ‘Standard’ ticket at The 99 Club means you are guaranteed a seat (provided you are there to collect it by the start of the show!) and these seats are given out on a first come, first served basis so you decide in the venue where you want to sit when you get there.

Q What does 'Reserved' seating mean?

When you book a Reserved ticket means it’s guaranteed that all the seats in your booking will be together and these seats are held for you until the start of the show. We will reserve you the best seats available at time of booking and your group’s name will be printed and placed on the seats.

Q Can I buy food & drink during the show?

All of our clubs have a bar in the venue. Food packages are available at our 99 Club Leicester Square at Ruby Blue and 99 Club Covent Garden at Strand Palace Hotel. Details of the food packages are displayed on our Packages page. Please note that food packages are only available prior the show in the venue’s restaurants. There is always at least one interval in the show for you to buy more drinks. The bar is also open before & after the show.
