!This will be my first solo as well as first time in Colorado. My original plan was to go with a small group of friends however conflicts with work wouldn't allow us all off at the same time. Some background. I'm 22 y/o male going to Colorado to hike, make friends and for the other obvious reason.I will be driving in from the Midwest around the middle of April and only have a budget of ~$650.Any tips or recommendations for a first time Solotraveler?
Denver and Boulder would match your appetites. Colorado Springs also has a lot of great hiking trails, and may be a little cheaper. btw what about camping ?
Might also try to do some camping to save money.
Do some camping because it's awesome and it's Colorado. Saving money is just a plus.
Any recommendations of good places to camp?
Well I just got back from Golden Gate Canyon and that was a lot of fun. Honestly there's a shit ton of places to camp and they're all great. There's 42 state parks that all have various camping (and any campground has hiking trails nearby).
I see Thanks
If you do camp, please be aware of fire restrictions in different counties. If the danger of wildfire is high, certain counties will ban campers from constructing fires.
I will take care thanks for giving such informative info
