On my first business trip to Manchester, I got off at the Piccadilly train station and was directed to the Holiday Inn which was the closest. But I was disappointed when I didn’t get a room. Turns out their excellent service doesn’t allow them to have empty rooms. I’d to hire a cab to take me to motel one. Well, lesson learned. Book a hotel before hitting Manchester!

All these hotels look really good, but it’s Motel One that’s really interested me. Themes you can choose from when you select a room you say? I love hotels with a twist! However, I do quite enjoy my stays in Hilton Hotels too. At least you’ve set a good list for me to choose from. Would love to see perhaps a rough estimate on the hotel rooms or just maybe even a rating on the price points for the hotels, but that’s just me because I’m pretty particular with price points! Hehehe. Otherwise, thanks for this list. I’m looking into reading more on Motel One.

If you haven’t lodged in Velvet hotel, you are missing out. I was there last Sunday and I received the best customer service I can imagine. The background music in the room was soothing and their free Wi-Fi kept me really busy. The furnishing and minibar are exotic not to mention the tasty British food served on my first night. It’s a great place I tell you.
